Alan S. Bowser is an attorney who has lived in Silver Spring for 20 years. He serves on a number of nonprofit boards, including the Montgomery County Civic Federation and Conservation Montgomery. He is a former Deputy Undersecretary with the Department of Commerce and was Chief of Staff to County Councilmember Duchy Trachtenberg during her time on the Council.
He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
Amy Henchey is a retired IRS public affairs professional. With her husband, the late Woody Brosnan and one of the founders of Safe Silver Spring., she raised her family in Silver Spring.
Daniel Koroma, originally from Sierra Leone, is the Business Liaison for the Montgomery County government. He is a member of the Business Advancement Team (BAT) for the Montgomery County Executive's Office. The team supports business startups and growth and works with business resources to support economic development. Daniel manages the county Business Portal and provides information on grants, classes, trainings and counseling for businesses and startups.
Eric Hensal is a veteran progressive communication, political and policy strategist. Over twenty years, he gained extensive experience with non-profits ranging from environmental groups to labor unions, state and local governments, and political candidates. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree through the National Labor College from the University of Baltimore.
Caren Madsen is a retired communications professional who now teaches yoga, Pilates and spin. She has lived in Silver Spring with her family for 27 years. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Conservation Montgomery, an environmental nonprofit, and the author of Healthy Trees, Healthy Communities: A Guide to Tree Care in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Jacob Newman is the Executive Director of the Silver Spring Regional Services Center, the local arm of the Montgomery County government. He has lived in Silver Spring for about 15 years. He is the former director of the Latin American Youth Center in Silver Spring and formerly was Managing Director for the Montgomery Conservation Corps.
